Everybody enjoys going to the buffet because there’s so much variety to choose from.
To please your hunger for the many varieties of art, the Oxford High School will be hosting their first annual A Taste of the Arts fund-raiser on Tuesday, Jan. 16, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center.
The fund-raiser will combine talented students from the visual, musical, theatrical, vocal and dance art departments at the school.
Stroll by the different mediums of senior artwork in the lobby beginning at 6 p.m. as the Jazz Combo plays some sweet tunes at 6:30 p.m.
At 7 p.m., members of the Dance Team, Chorale, Drama Club and the Symphonic Band will take the stage for an entertaining evening.
The cost for the fund-raiser is only $5 and all proceeds will benefit all of the art programs.
OHS Theater Director Marge Payne said the school hopes to make this fund-raiser an annual event and that next year may even feature some culinary arts.
