The Oxford varsity boys hockey team lost 4-6 against Linden at their game last Saturday at the Troy Sports Center.
Oxford had a total of 29 shots, while Linden made 36.
Goalie Corey Hrischuk had 30 saves for the night.
Oustanding performances were made by forward Brian Simpson (2), forward Elliot Wiker (1 goal, 1 assist), forward Tim Marney (3 assists), defenseman Matt Zaun (1 assist) and forward Will Buday (1 assist).
The Icers take on Lakeville Memorial tonight at 6:45 p.m., at the Troy Sports Center.
