Organizers are calling the March 2 art show featuring the work of Natalie Nance a ‘huge success.?
The event, featured in the Feb. 21 Review, was held at Glitz Salon (345 S. Broadway) and raised funds for a scholarship in honor of Nance, who passed away in a car accident over a year ago.
‘We sold about $6,000 the night of the show and I’m sure we will continue to sell more,? said Lake Orion High School art teacher Melissa Buffington.
‘The work will be up until the beginning of April and people can still order framed prints at Glitz until then,? Buffington noted.
A scholarship was awarded in Nance’s name at the March 11 art show held at LOHS.
