Norman W. Sumner, Jr., of White Lake, formerly of Clarkston, passed away suddenly on October 18, 2020 at the age of 56.
Husband of Carla, father of Nick, Adam, Luke and Jack, son of Norman “Wayne” Sr. and Brenda, son-in-law of Maria (late George “Bill”), brother of Pam Lyman, brother in law of Georgia (John) Wright, Bill (Christine) Crantas, and Jimmy Crantas. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Norm graduated from Clarkston High School in 1982 and served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of Pperation Desert Storm.
He was a registered nurse at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital in cardiac/CT and especially enjoyed playing Xbox and riding roller coasters at Cedar Point.
Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday, October 22, from 4-9 p.m. Funeral service is Friday, October 23 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with visiting beginning at noon.
Private family interment with military honors on Monday, October 26 at 10 a.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
