Three people were injured in the early morning hours of October 18, after a crash along I-75 in Independence Township near the northbound Baldwin Road exit.
According to the Michigan State Police, the driver of one car was speeding and rear-ended a second car.
The at-fault vehicle came to a stop in the center median, while the second vehicle rolled over in the left lane of northbound I-75.
Two people in the rollover vehicle and one individual in the speeding vehicle were taken by an ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A portion of I-75 was closed for a time for the initial investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
