CVS bandits ‘walked into? sheriff’s deputy

As they attempted their getaway, two armed robbery suspects walked right past Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputy Matthew Liss, who was entering the CVS in the Village of Lake Orion they’d just held up.
The clerk told Deputy Liss he’d just been robbed. A foot chase ensued, resulting in the capture of twenty-year-old Richard Gutowski. His cohort, Sean Inscho, 22, was taken into custody soon after the attempted robbery on Dec. 18.
According to Lake Orion Police Chief Jerry Narsh, Gutowski and Incho entered the CVS on S. Broadway at 2:23 a.m. wearing masks.
One of the subjects placed a note on the counter that read:
1. Look at my waist.
2. Put all of the money from all the registers in a bag
As the clerk read the note, one of the robbers lifted his jacket to reveal a black semi-automatic pistol shoved into the front of his pants. The note also admonished the clerk to do all very quickly and quietly so he or others would not get hurt.
‘This was a brazen and dangerous crime involving a weapon that could have easily escalated, resulting in someone being hurt,? Narsh said.
