Goodrich’s boys golf team wrapped up its season with a top ten place finish at the Division 3 state golf meet.
The Martians finished 10th at the meet, held Oct. 15-16 at Eagle Crest Golf Course in Ypsilanti. Goodrich shot 346 on the first day and 359 on the second day for a combined score of 705.
Lansing Catholic Central won the tournament (333-329-662), while Grayling finished second (333-333-666).
Ben Richards and Charlie Richards set the pace for the Martians at the meet, both finishing with combined scores of 173. Ben Richards shot 84 the first day and 89 the second day, while Charlie Richards shot 86 and 87, respectively.
Also representing the Martians at the state meet were Nick Wesener (83-96 ? 179), Wes Coleman (93-87 ? 180), and Jared Swanson (95-98 ? 193).
