Both the Goodrich boys and girls cross country teams enjoyed a successful outing in Genesee Area Conference Red Division action Sept. 28.
The boys team defeated Montrose 25-32 and Genesee, while the girls team recorded a perfect score against Genesee (15-50) and defeated Montrose 19-44.
Jeremy Phan was the leading Goodrich boys competitor, finishing second among all boys runners with a time of 18:24. Goodrich’s Janee Jones led all girls runners with a time of 19:32, while Kayla O’Mara placed third (20:40).
