Dr. Howard Henry Splete Jr. of Rochester Hills, passed away July 4, 2024 in Clarkston, Michigan he was born November 7, 1931 in Watertown, New York. He is survived by loving wife Marlene Splete, children Andrew (Kathy) Splete, Charles (Rosann) Splete and Nancy (Jim) Tedder, grandchildren Madison, Parker, Morgan, Caterina, Charlie, J.T., Briggs and Athena, sibling Allen Splete (Marilyn) and uncle of Heidi, Michael, Lea, and Brittany. Howard was a Native of Carthage, New York a Graduate of St. Lawrence, Syracuse and Michigan State University, a lifelong educator, School Counselor and Teacher in New York, Germany and Michigan, Professor of Counseling at Wayne State University and Oakland University. Past President of National Career Development Association. He was a proud Army Veteran. He loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. He was a teacher, counselor, mentor and supportive friend to many people throughout his life.
