Brandon’s boys soccer team is now at .500 for the season.
The Blackhawks shut out host Lapeer West 2-0 in a Sept. 20 contest, improving their season mark to 5-5 and their league record to 2-4.
Sophomore Matt Wegman scored Brandon’s first goal on an assist from Chris Hunter, while junior Chris Barth tallied the second goal on an assist from sophomore Matt Thomas.
Goalie Steve Kumpar recorded his fourth shutout of the year to lead the Blackhawks to the win.
