Man robbed at gunpoint

Groveland Township-A 24 year old Holly man awoke in his mobile home to a strange noise. He realized seconds later the noise was someone in his home, attempting to rob him.
Michigan State Police Trooper Nathan Ellis responded to the victim’s call on Aug. 28 at 7:45 a.m. He said once the man looked down the hallway, he saw a black man pointing a large semi-automatic handgun at him saying, “Give me your bread.”
The man told Trooper Ellis he was scared, for he thought he was going to be killed. The man sat down on his bed startled, pleading with the armed robber not to kill him. However, the threats continued, and the suspect even told the man the gun had a silencer on it.
The Holly man handed him $18, all the money he had with him. The suspect then ran out the front door, and was out of sight.
The man told Trooper Ellis that he then jumped in his truck in attempts to locate the man, but was unsuccessful.
The description the victim gave Trooper Ellis of the suspect is a black male, 5’9” tall, skinny, approximately 150 or 160 pounds with shoulder length curly hair. He was wearing a black button down T-shirt with some sort of dragon design on the bottom of the shirt. The victim saw that he was wearing dark pants, but couldn’t identify his footwear.
The weapon is described as being blued, with a chrome barrel.
