MSP appoints new administrative assistant

Groveland Twp. -Mary Losee knows her business and some local troopers are glad.
Losee has joined the Michigan State Police-Groveland Post. She is the new administrative assistant at the Groveland Post.
She assists Lt. Lubahn in clerical and bookkeeping work, provides and completes Freedom of Information Act forms, secretarial duties, budgeting, assists troopers in reports does and any other job that requires her skills.
Losee, a Davison resident, is no stranger to the proceedings and practices of law. She worked with the City of Flint for nearly 20 years. She started working for a private attorney, then moved to human resources, was court clerk and worked her way up to administration at the State Police.
‘I like the reputation that the state police has, it’s really a friendly atmosphere and I like working with the troopers here.?
Losee said coming to the area is a nice change of pace from Flint.
‘In Flint, it was very procedural. Coming here, I like the way things are done, they treat people respectfully and that’s good to see.?
Losee, has two sons, 15 and 16, that love to play hockey.
‘I work on my house a lot, and travel to just about every hockey game they have. At the end of the season, I’m glad to not watch it for awhile.?
