Track team keeps rolling

With a girl’s league record of 3-0-1 and a boy’s of 4-0, the Oxford Wildcat track teams are primed and ready for their biggest tri-meet against Fenton and Linden. The event starts tonight (Wednesday) at 5:00 p.m. at Fenton.
‘This is the last big league meet before the championship league meet,? said head coach Ben Kaszeta. ‘Everybody is pretty much undefeated at this point.?
Fenton will be tough competition for the Cats overall, while Linden has a strong sprinting line-up.
‘Both the girls and the boys will have to be competitive in the field events,? said Kaszeta.
And the Wildcats showed they have that competitive spirit on April 30 against Lapeer East. The Oxford ladies won 67-60 while the guys went 92-44.
