With my 2-year-old vocalizing to get out of the meat department in the grocery store, I turned the cart to the right. I understood. He needed to move and see something different.
I could have gone to the left, going into the produce but here I was in the bakery section teasing my son and myself. I lingered over the chocolate glazed donuts which is quite funny. I don’t like donuts. I don’t seek them out. I just happened to look down and there they were.
I may have craved one for a second but it was a second.
I am 36 days into my plan with Nuview Nutrition and was on a steady flow for the first month. I hit a wall as my body recovered from the stomach flu. Nasty little bug but as I try to get back to 64 ounces of water, my weight hit a stand still it normally doesn’t on Shape Reclaimed.
I remained on track, it’s really the only thing you can do on Shape besides wonder if it’s time to get off and are the drops working any longer. The pounds did budge on Sunday as the thoughts also budged.
I am 36 days coffee free. The goal is a latte on vacation. Though I might just begin with black coffee since my tolerance has dwindled. Come on, vacation. It will be the first vacation with a toddler.
The countdown is also on for March is Reading Month. My progress with reading is… Well, I finished one book. I hit a high of reading 150 pages between two days. But reading slowe down because I discovered the story continues in not only one more book but three books. I don’t have the second book and the third and fourth aren’t released for another 6-12 months.
JD’s progress in reading is much better. Maybe because his toddler books are much shorter. Grammi read ten to him on Friday night. We read a couple of pages of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and read Horton Hatches an Egg, both on Sunday. I long to get him more Dr. Seuss books when I pass them on store shelves. But I know I have more in storage as well as some other books from my childhood like a few Richard Scarry collections and of course all seven books from Harry Potter.
