Clarkston Track and Field split their dual meet against Lake Orion, April 26.
The girls won their meet against the Dragons, 71-57.
Finishing in the top three places to score points for the Wolves in the track events were: in the 100-meter dash, senior Jurney Harris in first place in the time of 12.87; sophomore Scarlett Keenan, second, 13.15; freshman Skylar Drinkard, third, 13.53; 200-meter dash, sophomore Keira Zorski, first, 27.40; Keenan, second, 27.45; sophomore Brooke Ratliff, third, 28.08; 400-meter dash, Zorski, first, 1:02.81; Drinkard, third, 1:05.36; 800-meter run, junior Emily Valencia, second, 2:33.86; 1,600-meter run, senior Rebekah Wilson, second, 5:48.17; freshman Ava Danielson, third, 5:48.52; 3,200-meter run, junior Alexandra Brigham, second, 11:43.48; Wilson, third, 12:36.13; 100-meter hurdles, junior Sammie Carpentier, second, 17.89; 300-meter hurdles, Carpentier, first, 50.91; and sophomore Carsey Collins, third, 51.92.
The Wolves finished in first place in the 400-meter relay event with the team of Harris, Keenan, Ratliff and senior Katrina Massey in the time of 51.45; and the 800-meter relay with the team of Keenan, Zorski, Ratliff and Drinkard, 1:50.10. The team of freshmen Emma Garner, Mathea Marcale, Marlayna Dropps and Caitlin Poterek finished in second place in the 800-meter relay, 1:58.01.
The 1,600-meter relay team of Zorski, Ratliff, Collins and Valencia finished in second place in the time of 4:35.21. The team of Valencia, Wilson, Brigham and senior Cate Cotter finished in second place in the 3,200-meter relay, 10:22.14.
Finishing in the top three places to score points for the Wolves in the field events were: in shot put, junior Allie Danatzko in second place with the distance of 29-06; junior Abby Hasenfratz, third, 28-07; discus, senior Nicole McCowey, second, 90-06; Danatzko, third, 74-09; high jump, Collins, first, 5-02; long jump, junior Genna Golab, second, 15-03; and Collins, third, 14-09.5.

The boys finished in first place in the 1,600-meter relay with the team of Bastuba, Van Goor, Chaney Palmeter finishing in the time of 3:31.02. The team of Floros, sophomore Joshua Ellingsworth, junior Bryce Nowik and senior Frank Schuster finished in first place in the 3,200-meter relay, 8:14.89.
The Wolves finished in second place in the 400-meter relay with the team of LaVell, sophomore Leon-Fountain Rence, sophomore Cooper Collins and senior Dominic Collins finishing in the time of 45.53. The team of LaVell, C. Collins, Chaney and Palmeter finished in second place in the 800-meter relay, 1:31.21.
Finishing in the top three places to score points for the Wolves in the field events were: in shot put, junior Nick Waszczenko in third place with the distance of 36-04; discus, Waszczenko, second, 123-04; and sophomore Benjamin Ankrom, third, 103-06.
Clarkston competed in the Brighton Bulldog Invitational on Saturday.
The Wolves head to Oxford on Wednesday for a dual meet. They compete in the Farmington Invitational and Farmington Invite – Twilight 3200 on Saturday. ~WRP
