The rain held off and 131 golfers participated in the 15th annual Mike Quinn Golf Classic May 8 at Copper Hills Golf Course in Oxford. Over $23,000 was raised for Weston Schroeder, 3, the sixth of seven children. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in July 2002. Pictured in the front row are the Schroeder children (left to right) Alyssa, Keaton, Weston, Bryson, Debby (the mom), Griffin, Dustin and Andrew. Weston’s dad is a F16 pilot in the Michigan National Guard and is currently deployed in Iraq. Some of the volunteers who helped with the event are shown in the back row.
