‘What you’ve been waiting for.?
This is how Scott and Mary Randolph believe Clarkston residents will feel about their newest establishment: Randolph’s Salon.
Located at 5890 Sashabaw Rd. in the Kroger Plaza, Randolph’s Salon is a Redken Elite Salon, one of 50 nationally, specializing in extraordinary hair color. The store features an exposed hair color bar, one of the newest concepts in the hair industry, where nothing is hidden in the ‘back room.?
‘We formulate, mix and prepare for each guest’s unique needs right in the salon,? said owner Mary Randolph.
Scott and Mary Randolph have owned Randolph’s Salon in Waterford for 15 years. They have been at their current location on M-59 and Williams Lake Rd. for the past 10 years. The couple decided to open a second location in the Clarkston area because they felt the community lacked the support of a salon that is current and trendy, with a European flair, and specializing in hair color.
‘We felt this community needed the business support,? said Mary. ‘We have clients who drive from here to Waterford for our services.?
The Randolphs have been members of The Salon Association since 1999. They are industry leaders who won the Finalist Award from the Global Salon Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, a prestigious honor with only 26 nominations out of the 7,000 salons in Michigan.
In addition, the Randolphs said they believe strongly in providing their staff with the best available education, including attending the Redken Exchange in New York City, the #1 training academy in the world.
Intertwined though with this high level of expertise and satisfaction is a strong belief in traditional customer satisfaction.
‘We are here to provide excellent service while being nice – making the customer happy,? said Scott. ‘You want to exceed your customer’s expectations.?
The Randolph’s said they strive to make their salon a relaxing, comfortable environment that invites their clients to return again and again. The couple place offering top-of-the-line services right beside kindness, courtesy and customer satisfaction.
So what is the most important goal for Randolph’s Salon’s newest location? To provide the community with an establishment that reflects the pride and lifestyle of the residents.
‘We want to encourage residents to enjoy and be proud of the satisfaction they have in their community and their lifestyles,? said Scott. ‘We want to offer them the services they want with the kindness they want.?
