Santa takes time to answer questions

Christmas is just around the corner, and I have experienced the ultimate holiday wish ever: I got to meet Santa!
Santa and I have known each other for a little while.Through phone conversations and email communications, I was offered the opportunity of a lifetime. Santa invited me to visit him at the North Pole! Reindeer led the sleigh and within minutes I was standing in front of Old Saint Nick.
The North Pole was COLD; however, I warmed right up when we entered the house.
It was bright, loud and joyous. Santa and I sat down to milk and cookies, and he answered all of my questions, and the questions of all the Clarkston boys and girls.
Now, I could personally answer this first question, but I’ll let Santa take itfrom here:
Q. Kayla Disalle wants to know if you are real?
A.’Well of course I’m real.’Just ask me and I will tell you so.?
Q. Ryan Tomecski and Natalie Risi want to know, how do your reindeer fly??
A. They fly by a special magic dust that is sprinkled on their food and over their bodies,
Q. Halle Hyman and Jessie Chapdelaine’want to know, how long does it take the elf’s to make our toys?
A. Well, the elf’s start making toys after they get a whole month off.? So on February 1st, they start making the toys for the upcoming Christmas season
Q. Justin Hyman and Emily Eicher’want to know, How do you fit down the chimney?
A. Well, I have three keys that I carry with me all the time.’One is to the reindeer barn, the other to homes without a fireplace and chimney, and the last one is a magic key that along with some magic dust, helps me to enlarge your chimney so I can slide right down it.
Q. Joey McMahon wants to know, how do you stay so quiet in the houses?
A. Well, Joey, sometimes it’s hard, last year I’tripped over’a chair I didn’t see.? I made a loud ruckus’and almost landed on’my sack of toys.? But most of the time I just try and be very careful when I’m in someone’s home, so I don’t break anything or disturb them.
Q.? Alex Legg wants to know, how do you watch us?
A. Have you ever heard of a snow globe Alex?? I have one at the North Pole. Its bigger than most though, and it’s got a bit of magic to it as well.? I shake it and think of the child I want to see, and like magic, there they are inside my snow globe.
Q. Austin Loehr wants to know, what are you going to give me for Christmas??
A. Okay Austin, I know what you asked for, but you will have to wait until Christmas to open your presents and find out.’Nice Try.
‘Q.’Anna Grace Madison wants to know, what would you do if a reindeer broke his leg??
A. Well Anna, I would be very sad for sure.? However, there are a few reindeer at the North Pole that fill in for the regular ones when they are sick or hurt.? We would make sure that the reindeer gets better before they could fly again.
‘Q. Gabrielle Garlicki wants to know, how do you get the presents down the chimney??
A. Like many of my tricks, magic dust helps me to squeeze down and my sack of toys.
‘Q.? Ashley Palardy wants to know, how do you get in a house if there is no chimney??
A. One of the magic keys is used to get into the homes without a fireplace or chimney.
‘Q. Caroline Kelly wants to know, how do you not get a stomach ache after eating all those cookies??
A. Well Caroline, sometimes I do get a stomach ache.? I have to be careful not to eat too many.? That’s why sometimes, I only eat one or two at each house I visit.
‘Q. Elizabeth Ailard wants to know, how do you handle apartment buildings??
A. Okay, Elizabeth, apartments are fun because the reindeer get to play on the roof for a long time while I visit each apartment.
Same as the homes without a chimney, I use my magic key for the front door.
‘Q. Shannon Disalle wants to know, how do you handle fires in fireplaces??
A. Sometimes I get the North Wind to help me out to blow the fire out, and sometimes I use magic dust to put it out until I go back up the chimney.
‘Q. Catalina Kenny wants to know, what happens if Santa gets sick on Christmas Eve??
A. You know, I have been doing this for long time, and Santa sometimes gets sick but not to sick that I can’t come to your homes.? One year I almost had to cancel Christmas, or put it off for a week, but thank goodness for magic peppermint sticks. I always seem to visit all the homes on Christmas Eve.
‘Q. Nicole Finn wants to know, how do you find us if we are not in our own house?
A. Well Nicole, the elves keep track of you for the most part and let me know where you’re going to be.? But just in case, I always? use my magic snow globe to see where you’re at.
Q.? Mary Allard wants to know, what kind of cookies do you like??
A. Chocolate Chip of course.
Q. Mary Jo Allen wants to know, how do you know who’s been good or bad??
A. So Mary, just like you know what is right and what is wrong,’when I see the children through my magic snow globe I can see if they are good or bad.? Most are good though, did you know that?
‘My visit with Santa was a dream I had since I was a little girl. The day was overwhelming and something I will always remember.
All the little boys and girls of Clarkston, Santa says Happy Holidays, and remember to be good, cause he’s watching.
