Senior Mike Cybulski led the Brandon scoring parade against St. Clair Jan. 21, scoring four goals as the Blackhawks earned a 10-2 win at the Polar Palace in Lapeer.
Cybulski also tallied two assists on the day, while Mike Ross notched two goals and five assists. Kyle Jackson contributed two goals and Steve Tallman four assists for the Blackhawks.
Brandon scored three goals before St. Clair could even get on the board. Cybulski scored two goals and Jackson one within the first 4:12 of the game to stake the Blackhawks to a 3-0 lead.
St. Clair scored a goal with 8:10 left in the first to cut the Brandon margin to 3-1, but Matt Cinader answered with 3:18 left in the first to put the Blackhawks up 4-1. St. Clair scored with 2:09 left in the period to trim the Brandon lead to 4-2, but that was as close as they got.
The Blackhawks scored twice in the second period (one each from Ross and Cybulski) and four times in the third (one each from Ross, Cybulski, Jackson and Tallman) to put away the win.
