The Lake Orion boys and girls cross country teams hosted a tri-meet at Lake Orion High School on Sept. 20, against Rochester Adams and Bloomfield Hills Lahser.
The Dragon boys defeated Adams, 24-31, but lost to Lahser, 23-33.
Lahser defeated Adams, 22-36.
Rob Shinouskis had the best time for the Lake Orion team, finishing fourth overall with a time of 17:16.
Drew Collette finished in sixth place for the team (17:21), and Max Hock took eighth (17:50).
Rounding out the top 10 was Orion’s Kyle Lawton in 10th, with a time of 18:01.
The Dragon girls defeated Lahser, 15-50, but lost to Adams, 19-41.
Adams defeated Lahser, 15-50.
For the Lake Orion girls, Sara Lieblein finished in second overall, with a time of 20:35.
Alexandra Hock took seventh place for Lake Orion (21:52), and Kat Kline finished out the top ten for the team, finishing with a time of 22:02.
The Dragons hosted Clarkston on Sept. 27, and travel to a tri-meet at Troy Athens on Oct. 6.
They will compete in the Oakland County Meet on Oct. 8.
