Comrades-in-arms break bread at Legion Post 108

Last Friday was Veterans Day and to celebrate the bravery and patriotism these men and women exude, the Oxford American Legion hosted a luncheon for the vets at Post 108 on E. Drahner Rd.
Veterans dressed proudly in their uniforms as they chatted with their comrades-in-arms.
For vets like Dane Bertram, who served during the Vietnam War, having a day to honor his comrades evoked ‘pride? and ‘recognition.? Jerry Lampe, who served during the Korean War, agreed.
Be sure to thank these men and women when you see them.
They are the reason we live in such a great nation.
