Cub Scouts Pack 512 took to the track at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on March 25, for their Pinewood Derby.
The Scouts might not have been behind the wheel, but the enthusiastic young car designers still wanted to cross the finish line first.
The boys raced in four divisions: Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelo Scouts.
Each car went down the track three times to get its overall total, and the overall winner was the car from Webelo Scout Ted Swietlik.
Matthew Hanley was tops in the Bear Scout division, Nickolai Havrilla won the Wolf division and Adam Maver was the fastest in the Tiger division.
