Olde World Canterbury Village went to the dogs last Sunday. And the cats, puppies, kittens, hamsters, and even ponies.
All sorts of lovable creatures stopped by the Village for the St. Mary’s in the Hills Episcopal Church Blessing of the Animals.
Area animal rescue groups were on hand to give out information to the roughly 100 pet owners that came for the blessing.
A Pet Parade through the Village kicked off the event before the Rev. Christine Humphrey led the blessing ceremony.
