Elections in Orion Township went as expected on Tuesday, with all of the incumbents on the ballot being elected for another term.
Mike Gingell (R) will be the next District 3 County Commissioner, after defeating Kate Zielinski (D) 14,359 votes to 6,636.
52-3 District Judge Lisa Asadoorian easily won re-election over Dan Randazzo, getting 73 percent of the vote.
In the race for the District 8 Congress seat, Mike Rogers (R) defeated Jim Marcinkowski (D) by a margin of 35,823 votes to 21,325.
Joe Knollenberg (R), 139,388 votes, beat Nancy Skinner (D), who tallied 114,702 votes in the race for the District 9 Congress seat.
In the State Senate race, Mike Bishop (R) defeated Joseph Barrera (D) by a margin of 56,857 to 30,553.
Jim Marleau (R) won re-election as 46th District State Rep., topping Bill Pearson (D) 23,742 votes to 15,196
Gov. Jennifer Granholm and Sen. Debbie Stabenow also won re-election Tuesday.
