According to Orion Township Public Library Director Linda Sickles, approximately 200 people attended the event that raised over $10,000 for the library expansion efforts. Thanks to local business for the generous donations, hardwork by library volunteers and superb food from Indianwood, she said the eventwas a huge success. What’s up next for the expansion team?
“The campaign committee is focusing on getting information out to the voters for the May 8 election about the critical need to expand,” Sickles said.
