A week of fun-filled activities comprised the Lake Orion Class of 1957’s 50th reunion celebration.
On Aug. 21, the group kicked off the festivities with a three day long visit to Mackinac Island where they stayed in the Chippewa Hotel and enjoyed touring the island.
Golf skills were tested on Aug. 24 with a Class of 1957 golf outing at the Bald Mountain Golf Course.
On Saturday, Aug. 25, the 50th reunion was held at Canterbury Village Castle, where 89 classmates attended with their wives, husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends.
The reunion fun came to a close on Sunday, Aug 26. with a class reunion picnic at John and Barb Kelly’s home on Lake Orion.
