Valentino’s Ristorante Italiano, located at 185 S. Broadway, promises to deliver delicious Italian food in a family atmosphere, and in celebration of the restaurant’s grand opening, kids eat free during the month of October with the purchase of an adult entr’e.
According to Chef Alfredo, the owner of the establishment, the family-operated business is new to this area, after having operated several restaurants in the New York and New Jersey areas.
‘It’s a different style of cooking,? he said, adding that the cuisine is a little lighter and healthier than traditional Italian food. ‘It’s not greasy, so no stomach ache afterwards.?
The restaurant features pasta, chicken, veal, lamp and steak entrees on the menu, as well as an array of desserts and a full bar, including many after-dinner drinks and ports.
Valentino’s takes reservations and walk-ins, as well as offering carry out and catering.
While not open for lunch to the public, the restaurant will open for parties during the day, anything from bridal showers, business parties or family get-togethers.
While Chef Alfredo’s focus is to bring a ‘different style of Italian cooking to the table,? he also noted that it is important for people to know that Valentino’s is a relaxed and casual atmosphere where the whole family, kids included, is welcome to come.
The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday, 5-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 4-11 p.m., and Sunday, 4-9 p.m.
