Drunk driver arrested for fifth time

A man got a little more than an order of fries on a trip to McDonald’s last Monday.
At approximately 8:13 p.m., a 911 caller reported that the vehicle in front of her in the drive-thru line backed into her vehicle, after the driver appeared to have fallen asleep. She believed the man may have been intoxicated.
According to Lake Orion Police Chief Jerry Narsh, the incident occurred in front of the order box, and after waiting for the car in front of her to pull up and it not doing so, the caller honked her horn and received no response. Upon honking again, the car backed into her and then pulled up again to place an order as if nothing had happened.
Upon police arrival, the driver, Timothy Micheal Stamp, 39, was arrested and taken into custody for operating while intoxicated. According to Narsh, Stamp has four prior drunk driving convictions, as well as 11 prior convictions for driving with a suspended license, 19 prior misdeameaner convictions and nine prior felony convictions.
‘Thankfully, this was an accident on private property at low speed and no one was injured, but this could have been, and had the potential to be, much more dangerous,? Narsh said.
According to Narsh, Stamp has already been arraigned and posted bond.
