The Oxford Varsity boys basketball team suffered back-to-back losses over the last week.
On the road against Holly Tuesday night, the team lost 47-45. The boys lost 56-41 to Swartz Creek at their home Dec. 14 game.
Senior captain Zach Tilley led in scoring with 18 points, while senior captain Rick Brady had 10 rebounds and eight points.
Freshman Mike Bertling had three points, senior Byron Nolde had two points, senior Matt Patria had one point, senior captain Chris Keenist had three points, senior Ryan Markowitz had four points and junior Anthony Esparsa scored two points.
The Wildcats were down by 16 early in the third quarter and cut it to 45-41 with three minutes remaining.
The boys are 2-3 overall and 1-3 in the Flint Metro League.
They play Fenton on the road 7:30 p.m. Friday.
