The Oxford Varsity girls competitive cheer team placed third at their competition in Northville over the weekend.
Coach Alanna Stockley said the girls had a ‘strong? first round with a score of 194.5, but are looking to improve their second round score of 177.48 by at least 20 points at their next meet against Owosso. They scored a 248.5 in the third round for a total of 620.48 points.
‘We are getting better every week and are still looking for our first 1st Place finish of the year,? Stockley said.
The girls travel to Owosso on Saturday for a 1 p.m. competition.
