Your Source Management Group is believed to be withdrawing their proposal to provide Human Resource services to the township.
Trustee Matt Gibb said he spoke with representatives from the firm last week, just days after Monday’s regular meeting, where the township’s three full-time officials brought up issues regarding the proposed contract.
‘They said that to be effective, it requires a buy-in from the top on down,? Gibb said of Your Source’s withdrawal. ‘They said it was a losing scenario for them. So we’re back to square one.?
During the meeting, Supervisor Jerry Dywasuk suggested that one of the other firms that submitted a bid might be a better (and cheaper) fit. The board had, however, already agreed to proceed with Your Source.
At press time, Clerk Jill Bastian said her office had yet to receive the formal withdrawal from Your Source.
She added that regardless of the outcome with Your Source, the committee that the board appointed (which includes Bastian, Gibb and Trustee John Stiemel) still plans to meet and bring something back to the board’s April 7 meeting.
