Myslakowski running for supervisor’s seat

Daniel Myslakowski has announced his intention to run for Orion Township Supervisor.
‘We are facing very challenging times these days with record high unemployment, record high home foreclosures, record high gas and energy prices, soaring food prices, and record high costs for a college education,? he noted. ‘Middle-class families and seniors have to make very tough choices to make ends meet in this environment.?
‘In these tough economic times people look to their elected officials for leadership, for experience, for common sense answers to help their families deal with the problems that confront them, and to make their lives a little better each day,? he said.
Myslakowski said Orion is a great place to live, work and raise a family, citing the GM Assemply Plant, the many parks and lakes, great school district and numerous houses of worship.?
‘As your elected Orion Township Supervisor, I will continue to maintain, to enhance, and protect our precious local natural resources,? he said. ‘I will continue to work with business, educational, elected, and the spiritual leaders in our township, and the surrounding communities, our neighbors.?
‘I will work with the newly elected Orion board, department heads, and community leaders to identify, and prioritize the projects, and tasks that are most important and doable for our Orion residents. I will give the residents of Orion 110-percent effort as a full-time supervisor, a leader that will make the residents of Orion my number one priority.?
Myslakowski said he has the education and skills from public and private sectors to lead the township through tough times.
