A 16-year-old Lake Orion resident was arrested for armed robbery after police say he held his neighbors at gunpoint.
According to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, the suspect forced his way into a Sunfield Place apartment, stole $60 and hit one person with the gun before leaving.
The incident took place shortly after midnight on Saturday morning.
The suspect was wearing dark clothing, but multiple victims told OCSD deputies that they recognized the man as one of their neighbors.
The victims positively identified the suspect after he was taken into custody, however the money and the gun used in the robbery had not yet been located by deputies at press time.
