In their quest to be a one-stop shop for all of your auto needs, Alexander’s Auto Wash and Detailing Center owner Michael Ceritano is happy to announce the opening of the center’s newest business — Interstate All Battery Center.
‘If you have any battery need, we can fill it,? Ceritano said. ‘Anything from a hearing aid to a high performance battery for your boat, all under one roof.?
‘We either have it, can find it or we’ll build it,? he added, noting they can rebuild any battery pack and they carry over 13,000 kinds of batteries.
According to Ceritano, Interstate is number one in automotive replacement batteries in the United States and he’s happy to offer that quality to his customers.
‘It’s unique to the area and complementary to what we are already doing,? he added, noting that this is the first Interstate in southeast Michigan, with the only other one in the state being in Kalmazoo.
Interstate will celebrate their official opening with a grand opening celebration on July 19, which will feature free food and giveaways from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Free hot dogs and pizza, free automotive battery tests, free ‘Express Car Wash? provided by Alexander’s Auto Wash (one per customer) and a Nintendo Wii Bowling contest for 12 and under (where the winner takes home the Wii) are among the day’s events.
Participants can also register to win one of two sets of race tickets and two sets of hospitality passes to the Aug. 17 NASCAR race at the Michigan International Speedway, as well as see the Interstate Batteries Show Car.
From 1-3 p.m., 94.7 WCSX will also be onsite.
Interstate All Battery Center is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Auto One is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The car wash is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The gas station is open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
