The Wolves finished at the top of their meets last week as they finished first place in the Division One race at the Hanson Invitational on Saturday and at the OAA Jamboree No. 2, Sept. 27.
The Clarkston Boys Cross Country finished with 66 points out of 20 teams on Saturday.
Mika Juuhl led the team as he finished in tenth place at the time of 17:19. Five more Wolves finished in the top 20 with William Eisert at 12th place, 17:21; Brendan Favazza, 13th, 17:22; Shawn Slater, 14th, 17:26; Nickolas Favazza, 17th, 17:37.5; and Nate Sesti,18th, 17:38.
They opened the week scoring 42 points during the OAA Red’s second jamboree. Eisert led the Wolves as he finished in fifth place with a time of 16:26.4. The rest of the top five runners for the Wolves finished in the top 20 with Slater in seventh place, 16:44.7; Nickolas Favazza, ninth, 16:47.8; Brendan Favazza, 11th, 16:49.9; and Juuhl, 12th, 16:54.4.
The Wolves, nominated for Athletes of the Week for their performances in the OAA Jamboree No. 1 and Michigan State University Invitational, took first place at the first league meet, Sept. 12.
They had five runners finish in the top 20 with Eisert in sixth place, 16:59.5; Juuhl, 17:05.5; Nickolas Favazza, eighth, 17:08.2; Slater, 11th, 17:10.4; Brendan Favazza, 19th, 17:41.9; Timothy Dalrymple, 25th, 18:21.6; and Grant Schreiber, 28th place, 18:21.6.
They finished second place in the Boys Green race at MSU with 167 points. Eisert led the team finishing in 13th place, 16:37. Finishing in the top 50 spots were Juuhl, 16:51; Nickolas Favazza, 17:03; Slater, 17:16; and Brendan Favazza, 17:20.
The Wolves race in the Oakland County meet this Saturday.
