Hugh Alden Rose of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Clarkston, passed away suddenly June 19, 2017 at the age of 68.
He was husband of Bambi; father of Jayna and Stacia Rose; brother of Christopher (June) Rose, Patrick (Sheila) Rose, Stephen (Esther) Rose; brother in law of Kristy (Timothy) Beck-Bair & Scott (Tammy) Beck. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur “Pete” and Janet Rose; also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Hugh graduated from University of Michigan Business School in 1971 and was their avid football fan. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and acting with the Clarkston Village Players. He had served as Chief Financial Officer for Hurley Medical Center Flint, University of Illinois Medical Center, Chicago & Palos Community Hospital, Palos Heights.
Friends may visit at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston Friday 4-9 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Salvation Army or Metavivor for breast cancer research.
