Masonic Temple generous to police

Members of the Lake Orion’s Masonic Temple #46 recently handed over a $1,000 check to the Lake Orion Police Department. The money was raised during a bike rally last August. Over $3,500 has been given to the local police over the years. LO Police Chief Jerry Narsh said this money is a big benefit to the village, especially during the financial crisis in the state. Monies raised are being used to buy equipment for the department’s in-car video system and night vision equipment. Richard LeMaster, a member of the Lodge, said the Masonic Lodge is honored to help the community and working hard to be part of it.
