Jenson Walker, of Clarkston, has been named to the Southeast Missouri State University Dean’s List for the Fall 2020 semester.
Students named to the list earned at least a 3.75 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale, completed at least 12 hours of standard graded credit, achieved no grade below a B.

Lauren Brundage, a sophomore Health Sciences major, and Katherine Wells, a freshman Nursing major, both of Clarkston, were named to the Dean’s List at Bob Jones University for the Fall 2020 semester.
The Dean’s List recognizes students who earn a 3.0-3.74 GPA during the semester.

MacLean Diver, of Clarkston, has been named to the Dean’s List at Lebanon Valley College for the Fall 2020 semester.
Dean’s List students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.
Diver is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Adam Wasniewski, of Clarkston, was named to the University of Utah’s Fall 2020 Dean’s List. Wasniewski’s major is listed as Graphic Design.
To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher in at least 12 graded credit hours during any one term.

Albion College has announced Clarkston students who were named to the Dean’s List or who were named new Albion College Fellows at the end of the Fall 2020 semester.
David Cipriano was named a new Albion College Fellow at the end of the semester. Cipriano is majoring in Political Science.
Sabrina Fitzgerald and Ezra Moore were named to the Dean’s List. Fitzgerald is a first-year student at Albion with a concentration in the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service and is a member of the Prentiss M. Brown Honors Program.
Moore is a first-year student at Albion and is a member of the Prentiss M. Brown Honors Program.
Dean’s List honors recognize students with a minimum 3.5 GPA in four graded courses, while an Albion College Fellow is an honor reserved for students who maintain a minimum 3.7 GPA over three consecutive semesters.

Gerald Runions, of Davisburg, graduated from Olivet College in December with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Runions was one of 46 graduates.

Amy Coomer, of Clarkston, has been named to Eastern Michigan University’s College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s List for achieving above a 3.5 GPA for the Fall 2020 semester.

Alexander Carlson and Matthew McLain, both of Clarkston, have been named to the University of Wisconsin-Madison Dean’s Honor List for the Fall 2020 semester in the College of Engineering.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester.

Gabrielle Bitzer, Kaitlyn Bridger, Alexandra Buddrius, Madison Crawford, Alexis Giesey, Marisa Jacobs, Kobe Manzo, Gino Pacifico, Emma Rogers, Alyvia Stoudt, and Emily Wood, all of Clarkston, and Trevor Que, of Davisburg, have been named to the Dean’s List at NMU for the Fall 2020 semester with a 3.50-3.99.

Everest Collegiate High School offers merit scholarship for freshman students who have demonstrated excellence on their High School Placement Test (HSPT).
In collaboration with other high schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit, Everest has chosen not to offer the HSPT to the Class of 2025 and adapted the merit scholarship criteria to be based on PSAT 8/9 results.
The following students received scholarships:
– Scoring in the 99th percentile, with a gold scholarship of $2,000 per year, Madelyn Krappmann
– Scoring in the 98th percentile, with a gold scholarship of $2,000 per year, Sarah Bradley
