Senior Patrick McLetchie qualified for the MHSAA Division 1 Boys Bowling State Championship for Clarkston.
He finished in ninth place with a total of 817 during the regional competition at Century Bowl in Waterford last Friday. His highest game of the four played was 216.
The Clarkston Boys Varsity Bowling team finished in seventh place with a total of 3,628 after four games with a game high of 934.
Senior Logan Sutherland finished in 16th place with a total score of 787, with a high game of 223. Sophomore Christian Bradford finished in 43rd place with 700, with two high games of 201.
The teams heading to the state championship this Friday and Saturday are Waterford Kettering who finished in first place, 4,059; and Macomb Dakota, second place, 3,939.
The Clarkston Girls Varsity Bowling team finished in 11th place with a total of 2,591.
Senior Angelina Stowers finished in 42nd place with 619, with a high game of 178. Junior Madison Kortman finished in 44th place with 612 and a high game of 165. Sophomore Gabrielle Preston finished in 51st place with 564 and a high game of 154.
The girls teams heading to the state championship are Davison, who finished in first place, 3,580; and Lake Orion, second place, 3,530.
