Keaton Mitchell plans on taking his lacrosse skills to the next level after graduation in June.
The Clarkston High School senior has committed to play Division 1 Lacrosse at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmetsberg, Maryland.
He was invited to play in Inside Lacrosse’s inaugural Committed Academy, July 29-31 at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland.
The invite is only for committed Division 1 players from all over the nation. Mitchell will represent Mount St. Mary’s and the Northeast Conference during the event. He will also compete against his future opponents in the conference.
According to Inside Lacrosse, players will compete for the Committed Cup as well as continue their skill development and bond with future teammates.
Mitchell is currently a middie for the Clarkston Boys Varsity Lacrosse team. Watch Mitchell and the Wolves in action this Thursday as they host Bloomfield at 7 p.m. and on Sunday when they host St. Michael’s from Toronto, Canada, 10 a.m.
