Clarkston JV Volleyball opened the season by winning the Lake Orion Junior Varsity tournament, Aug 24. They finished with a 6-0 record, going 12-0 in sets. The Wolves beat Hartland in the Gold finals.
They opened the week at a quad against North Branch, Oxford and Flushing on Tuesday. They head to the Lakeland tournament on Sept. 14.
The team is Breeanna Bordine, Cali Bordine, Jenna Buscher, Ella Brakke, Sheeva Hajimirza, McKenna Hempton, Kaitlyn Hoffman, Morgan Lotts, Kendall Lozzi, Stacie Nickelson, Ashley Petker and Ella Post with head coach Bonnie Mazzei and assistant coach Erik Schreefel.
The Clarkston Freshman Volleyball team was also successful in their first tournament as they finished second in the Gold Division at the Novi High School Tournament, Aug. 24. They lost to Northville in the final.
The freshman team is Megann Brennecke, Cameron Brosky, Ella Cady, Brooke Cicero, Emma Larkins, Rylee Karlewski, Annabelle Keller, Mackenzie May, Ava Ohlrich, Monti Rotter, Lavory Roy, Sydney Thomas, Emerson Wood and Mia Zorski with manager Alex Moore.
