The Clarkston Cyclones flag football team had the opportunity to play in the 2017 Game On Cancer Ford Field – Grip It And Rip It Tournament, Dec. 4, 2017.
The Cyclones won the championship for the First Grade & Under Rip It Division out of the eight teams competing in the division.
They outscored their first four opponents 117 – 6 and defeated a tough West Michigan Patriots team in the championship game, 20-12.
The Cyclones are Jackson Sidaway, Raleigh Cygan, Evan Schneider, Brody Champagne, Julien Mohr and Benn Wilson. They are coached by Kyle Wilson, Dan Champagne and Gary Cygan.
