The Blackhawks defeated Lapeer West 19-50 in their final Flint Metro League dual meet Oct. 8. Brandon is currently tied with Fenton and Linden for first in the Flint Metro.
Once again, Kayla Doan led the Blackhawks, finishing first in the meet at 23:07, while Kelsey Carmean was right behind in second place and Jackie Back in third place (23:34).
Rounding out the Blackhawk scoring were Danielle Westphall (26:01), Sarah Eldon (26:03), Amanda Allison (26:05) and Casey Nesterowich (26:25).
The league title was decided Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the league championship meet; results of the meet were unavailable as of press time.
