The Brandon volleyball team fought hard in their last home game of the season against Holly Feb. 17.
However, it was not to be for the Blackhawks, who dropped the matchup 15-13, 10-15, 12-15. With the loss, Brandon’s record fell to 12-28-4 overall and 3-8 in Flint Metro League action.
Nicole Bildson was 13-of-13 passing with five kills for the Blackhawks, while Savannah Stedman had nine kills and Jessica Wise six kills.
Brandon coach Kim Rackel said seniors Bildson, Wise and Mallory Martin played ‘one of their best games of the season? against the second-place Bronchos.
The Blackhawks travel to Linden for a league contest Feb. 23.
