Brandon’s varsity boys swimming team took one on the chin against Milford Feb. 21, losing 110-76.
The Blackhawks started out on a positive note in the 200 yard medley relay, as the team of Tyler Walls, Brad MacIntyre, Tyson DeLandsheer, and Josh Collier won the 200 yard medley relay in 1:54.77.
However, from that point on, it was all Mavericks, as they won the next seven events. Brandon’s next event victory came in the 200 yard free relay, where the team of Tyler Cole, Clayton Carpenter, Collier and MacIntyre won in 1:43.37.
The Blackhawks won two other events against the Mavericks, as Walls captured the 100 yard backstroke in 1:03.04, and DeLandsheer won the 100 yard breaststroke in 1:10.03.
