The Clarkston Riverdawgs 10U team are off to a winning start with two championships under their belt.
They won the Walled Lake Classic as they went 3-0-1 during the event, June 4-5. They also won the championship at Auburn Hills Spring Classic, May 20-22. The hitters went 4-0 during the tournament at Avondale High School. They beat HitzBaseball for the championship, 13-3.
It was the second win over the Hitz. We also beat the Motor City Shamrocks and Grand Blanc. The Riverdawgs scored an impressive 50 runs in 4 games. Ryan Traynoff hit a big 2 run home run over the fence during the championship game. Solid pitching performances were turned in by Preston Stout, Braylon Liddle and Nick Young.
The team is Adam Davis, Adam Denver, Andrew Floros, Chase Hart, Braylon Liddle, Mario Liles, Preston Stout, Matthew Taverna, Ryan Traynoff and Nick Young. They are coached by Brad Stout, head coach, and Tony Floros, Andy Hart and Bob Liddle.
The Dawgs head to Seymour Lake Park to play Oxford White on Thursday. Then, head to East Lansing for the June Smash.
