It was a day for good competition and to raise money for a good cause.
The Clarkston Chiefs and Lake Orion Dragons raised over $1,100 during their Warrior games on Saturday.
The money raised will go to the Woods Warriors Legacy Fund. The games were played in honor of Celeste Wood, who lived in Clarkston and was a Lake Orion teacher before she passed away in July.
The Clarkston Chiefs JV White team defeated the Lake Orion JV White team, 40-7. The Chiefs Freshman White team lost to Lake Orion Freshman White, 31-8.
The Clarkston JV Blue team defeated the Lake Orion JV Green team, 35-0; and the Clarkston Freshman Blue team also defeated Lake Orion Freshman Green, 40-7.
Clarkston Freshman Gold defeated Grand Blanc Freshman Black, 35-6; and Clarkston JV Gold lost to Grand Blanc JV Black, 19-6. The Chiefs next games are Saturday, Sept. 7
