Four Clarkston divers finished in the top 16 during the MHSAA Division 1 Girls Swimming and Diving State Championship last week.
Senior Madison Verbeke finished in seventh place with a total score of 340.25 during the finals on Saturday. Sophomore Jordyn Coin finished in 11th place, 329.20; senior Zoe Paxton, 14th, 318.30; and senior Alivia Walbridge, 15th, 307.80.
Freshman Ava Dowd scored 137.75 points during preliminaries on Friday for a 24th place finish.
Freshman Rylee Harris finished in 24th place in the 100-yard freestyle in the time of 54.34 during the preliminaries on Friday.
