On Oct. 8, the Blackhawks defeated Lapeer West 26-31 in a Flint Metro League meet, bringing their league record to 2-4.
Brad Lawrence led the Blackhawks as he finished first overall with a time of 18:28. He was followed by Trevor DeWitt (fourth, 18:45), Chris Holton (sixth, 19:07), Jared Blunk (seventh, 20:25) and Steve Sanday (eighth, 20:43).
Kyle Jackson (10th, 21:11) and Dylan Kent (11th, 21:33) rounded out the Brandon varsity squad.
Brandon will compete in regional action Saturday, Oct. 25.
