Ruth Josephine (Monahan) Brueck, of Clarkston, passed away peacefully with family at her side on June 14, 2016 at the age of 69. Ruth married Jim Brueck on August 16, 1968 and went on to have 8 children and 11 grandchildren.  Ruth was the second child of Harold and Liz Monahan and is survived by her two brothers Harold Monahan (Jean),  Bill Monahan (Diane), as well as her three sisters, MavaMarie Vandervennet (Charlie), Pat Leggett (Steve), and Maureen Monahan.  Ruth is also survived by husband Jim’s siblings George Brueck (Barb Brownlee), sister-in-law Paula Brueck, sister Barb Shubel (Gus), brother-in-law Mark Korody (Rachel) and was preceded in death by Jim’s sister Mary Brueck.  Mom’s love and legendary generosity of spirit are an enduring legacy for her children and their significant others, John Brueck (Ronnie), Jim Brueck (Dani Harshman), Mike Brueck (Kerry), Bill Brueck (Barbara Mulholland), Anne Bushroe (Kevin), Ben Brueck, Tom Brueck (Kate), Matt Brueck (Casey Hartz).  Grandma will also be immensely missed by her grandchildren, Zach, Chloe and Tyler Brueck, Jacob, Collin and Kaitlin Brueck, Austin, Ryan and Emily Bushroe and Lily and Ava Mulholland-Brueck.  Friends may visit at the Lewis E.
